The workshops aim to develop a detailed understanding on the concept/application of Job Analysis & Evaluation as per Mercer’s methodology. Job Evaluation is a critical exercise for organizations as it helps cascade a company's overall strategic plans into well-defined functional/individual roles and responsibilities aligned with business objectives. These workshops will empower the participants/ HR specialists to effectively apply Job Evaluation methodologies within their organizations by providing them with appropriate understanding on efficient tools and processes. Job evaluation helps in determining roles and responsibilities of each job in any organization, eventually leading to establishing a benchmark for compensation comparison and attracting core talent.


Day 1

  • Understand the basic theory, purpose and benefits of creating clear position structure for different roles across the organization
  • Learn about different approaches in analyzing roles across the organization
  • Understand the steps to perform role analysis

Day 2

  • Understand application of results after completing position evaluation exercise to address other initiatives in broader HR context
  • Understand Mercer’s International Position Evaluation (eIPE) methodology and how it structures the responsibility and requirements of each job to the unique needs of each business through case studies

Day 3

  • Mercer’s International Position Evaluation (eIPE) system training in real time

Irfan is a certified master trainer for Leadership development programs from the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a financial times top-ranked global leadership development organization. He has also conducted multiple workshops on Job Evaluation, Total Rewards Advisory and Performance Management. Moreover, he has facilitated clients in developing capacity across these areas through knowledge transfer sessions.

Zeeshan has worked extensively with public and private Sector clients in Pakistan and internationally, and has experience of managing multi-disciplinary projects within the domain of HRM.

Zeeshan has over fifteen years of operational and consultancy experience across assignments in the areas of human resource management and business solutions. Over the course of his career, Zeeshan has managed several HR advisory projects including Job Evaluation, Competency Framework Development, Training Needs Assessment, Assessment Centers, Psychometric Evaluations, and Organizational Restructuring. He has facilitated clients in developing training expertise across these areas as well. For Job Evaluation and its applications in particular, Zeeshan has conducted training workshops for Descon, DHL, Amreli Steel, Jazz, Khaadi, English Biscuits Manufacturers, K-Electric Hubco, Fatima Group, and Interloop.
